It’s day 6 of the World Cup, and the only thing you can remember about it is the awesome buzzing from the crowd. Before we dive in here, I first have to disagree with colleague Kevin McCarthy who in a previous post about what fraction of World Cup coverage has been about vuvuzelas stated that he hopes they get banned from the stadiums. Well Kevin, you are wrong. The vuvuzela is a huge part of South African football culture and definitely adds a certain excitement to the atmosphere.
Moving on.
The World Cup is a huge water cooler opportunity for employees. The corporate world is chalk full of soccer hooligans, and what better way to connect with your boss, than discussing an injury time goal, and the odds the U.S takes it home. Problem is, you don’t have a clue on what’s happening with the World Cup. Look no further, first was Inbound Marketing, NBA Finals, Happy Hour, and now the World Cup.
